HIVE is an acronym for Holistic, Interactive, Visual, Experience. It’s what we named the Design System we use to build the luxury customer experiences for NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER.
HIVE is a set principles, components and pattern libraries.
It’s also the tools we use and the processes we adopt.
It enables us to scale digital products with relative ease and launch in emerging markets.
Collaborating with our broad product teams (based remotely in UK and Italy), my role is to ensure teams share a common understanding of design elements and feel confident contributing to HIVE.
